Adam blew it for all of us when he disobeyed one commandment and became lost along with all who would follow afterwards. God, in His omniscience, knew this before it happened, and provided the animal skins to cover their nakedness ( sin ). This was the first sign of the promise of the covenant made between God the Father and God the Son to pay the price for our sin. This " once for all " offering obtained eternal redemption ( Heb.9:12 ), and eternal perfection ( Heb. 10:14 ) for all who would believe on Him for Salvation.
